Most people are trying to earn $10,000/month the hard way. We’re not sure why, because there’s an easy way. It can take as little as 3 months if done right. Want to know exactly how?

The easy way to $10,000/month is to get a handful of clients who are paying you between $2,000 to $5,000 each month. Are you doing the math? That’s only 2-5 clients. Getting 2-5 clients is easy…well fairly easy.

When we say clients, we mean businesses that will pay you a monthly retainer to do something for them that will in turn make them money. In other words, you’re a freelancer or an independent contractor. You provide a service, the business pays you for said service and everyone makes money! Therefore, everyone’s happy.

Provide a Service They’ll Pay For

The exact service you provide however, depends completely on you. What are you good at? What do you enjoy doing? Weigh your strengths and weaknesses and figure out what skill YOU will naturally be good at (no reason to make it harder than it has to be). For us, it’s administrative support services. Whatever yours is, spend time learning the ins and outs of that skill. Read books, buy courses, seek out mentors, etc.

Don’t have a skill? What SKILL can you learn that businesses will pay you for? In digital marketing for example the main skills to know are copy writing, organic social media marketing, and paid traffic.

There are other ones of course, but the main point is it has to be a skill that will directly generate more revenue for your client. You can do services like video editing, photography and content creation, but you won’t get paid as well, and it will be harder to directly get to $10,000/month.

Learn to Sell!

Now you have a valuable skill, but that’s just the beginning. Now you need to learn how to sell yourself. Yep! Become your own salesperson. Again, read books, buy courses, seek out mentors, but most importantly, be passionate about why you’re selling your services in the first place. Become 112% comfortable with SELLING. There are no compromises here. You MUST be okay with selling.

This whole learning process shouldn’t take you longer than a month or two (quite frankly, it can stretch out to a year). To be honest, you will never feel “ready,” but if you want to get to $10k/month, you’re going to have to throw yourself to the lions sooner or later (and preferably sooner).

Pick your Ideal Client

Now, identify your ideal client; do your research on them and learn them inside and out. Figure out their biggest problems, their pain points and their desires, and don’t bias this. Do your research because it will make things so much easier. Just trust us.

Once you know them like the back of your hand, you can do cold outreach. Either cold calling or cold emailing (or both). You make a list of people you’d like to work with, be a little crafty and find their contact info, and you hit them up directly.

Nothing else matters if you don’t do this. In order to get to $10k/month, you NEED clients (duh!). They’re not just going to come to you. You have to go to them. You need to be a shark.

If you don’t know copy writing already, learning the basics will come in handy here. It will allow you to craft entertaining and persuasive cold emails that set you apart from every other shitty freelancer.

Do that, then hit up a BUNCH of business owners. We’re talking dozens, even hundreds. Most will say no, but it’s a numbers game. You have to be persistent, don’t take no for an answer, and eventually someone will say yes.

Get them on the phone, offer to do some sort of free trial, get them results as soon as possible, then close them on a monthly retainer just as fast.

Congrats! You now have your first client. From there it’s just wash, rinse, repeat until you have 2-5 clients paying you $2,000 to $5,000 per month. Pretty simple. But it requires a lot of hard work and to actually learn a SKILL which is something most people are too lazy to do.

It’s Sooo Easy

This entire process could take you 2 months, it could take you 6 months, or it could take you 2 years. Either way, you’re making 6-figures per year. At that point, does it really matter how long it takes you? Probably not.

Anyway, that’s legitimately the easy route to making $10,000/month. There’s no shortcuts or tricks. It will take time. But if you put in the work and are consistent there’s no way you can fail long term.
